ALTERATIONS PROPOSED. HELP FOR B STATIONS. BROADCASTING PARLIAMENT. interviewed yesterday, the 13051. master‘C-eneral. the lion. P. Jones, gave a definite indication that the Gov—erhnient would bring down legislation this year designed to alter the present system of broadcasting administration. Mr Jones said the rroretanisation ot' the Broadcasting Board In some \\'in was inevitable. it. had not yet been decided whether the board would he abolished, reconstituted or altered in some other way. but it was certain that whatever happened the service would come more directly under thtcontrol of the Government through the Minister. This would be effected by amending legislation which would be brought down this session, but tocould not say definitely that it. would be introdurod before the midwinlvt‘ adjournment.
