'l'Hl ILIDIBLOI HALL. TRIBUTE IN BRITAIN. The recognised authority on steel construction in Great Britain. the British Staelwork Association. is according a unique honour to the \Vaikato \Vinter Show Association and to New Zealand by devoting one of its booklets describing recent advance—ments, entirely to Bledisloe Hall. According to an air mail letter re—ceived by the se’creim‘y of the \Vaiknto Winter Show. Mr \V. H. Paul. this booklet is being published in London about the present time. Thus on the anniversary of the occasion on which the Winter Show created a stir in New anland by presenting Bledisloe "all to the public, details or this new type

of steel construction will be spread throughout the Empire. Working in rnnJunction with a committee of leading engineers the British Sirelwoi‘k Assorintion, which is a non—profit earning institution. has been devoting its energies towards the improvement of steel design, particularly in buildings and bridges, and its action in so dealing with Bledisloe Hall is the strongest possible evidence, that New Zealand has made an important contribution to progress in the use of steel. At present, therefore. the executive and others in the great industries of Britain will be reading of the \Valkato Winter Show and its doings. Last year it proved itself to be the most progressive show in New Zealand; this year it has entered wider spheres and has become a real force in the de\'elopment of Empire trade and goodwill.
