NEW GOLF COURSE.
|HAMILTON EAST SCHEME. BOROUGH COUNCIL'S VIEWS. .._,— The proposal that golf links should be established in Hamilton East. in the ‘Hayes‘ Park area. was again before the Hamilton Borough Council last evening. when a special committee set up to further this scheme recommended that—(e) That in view of the attitude or the -Domnin Board concerning the proposed garden suburb, the council amrm the desirability or looming a golf course on the Hayes Paddock area and the adjoining properties. ('l3) ’That the Domain Board be asked what arrange—ments they could complete to make their lands available for this purpose (0) ”That the borough engineer be asked to supply estimates of the ap—proximate costs of forming '9 and 18 hole courses. ((1) That the town clerk flS'Cel‘lfllll what the present posi—tion is, in connection with the Rifle Range Rescue. The rm-ommoudations were adopted without discussion. ___—_—
