Asmis, presented the commander of the Mongolia with an Olympic flag in the name or the German Olympic Committee, and assured the teams of a most cordial welcome. An Olympic omclal \\‘ho is visiting ‘London told the Associated Press that 53 nations are sending 5300 athletea to Berlin. The few which declined invitations included Palestine. which re—plied that athletes had not yet reached Olympic standard. ‘The German team will number iGO. and will be the largest at. the Games. America's team of 400 will probably be ‘next in number. i The Ministry of Finance has reiiaxed the foreign exchange restric‘tions to enable the importation of foreign food. In addition to the German Army officer attached to each team as an aeaistant. there will be an omclal attache ‘to each team on behalf of the arsen‘islng committee, who will, as tar as iposslhle. be of the same nationality. ‘ All the British Empire teams will be .grouped in the same section at the iolympic village.
