The City editor of the Times says the underwriters have been left with 30 per cent. of New Zeal-dnd's £11,000,000 loan. The result can be hardly described es unsatisfactorv for the trend of politiCal and economic events in New Zealand has not been conducive to strengthening her credit—for example, the Reserve Bank Amendment Bill, which is the direct opposite of Australia‘s policy.
