m (Own Correspondent—By Air Mail.) LONDON. Aprll 15. A London syndicate is negotiating for the purchase of Brooklnnd’e motor truck and aerodrome. Several uLtempts have been made to buy the track in the past; five years, but all previoue oflers have been rejected. Brooklands is owned by a, private company. the principal shareholder bein§ Dame Ethel Locke-King, widow of Ar. H. F. Locke-King. who built the track in 19061. She still liven in the house. Brooklands, which gave its name to the course. She was one of the first women in England to fly.
