__,_...._ MORRINBVILLE HORSE FAIR. The New Zealand Loan and Merv oantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report as follows on their initial Morrinsvllle horse fair, held yesterday. Approximately 20 unbroken farm droughts came forward and all had the makings of good heavy horses. They were in particularly keen demand and an excellent sale took place with practically all selling. Broken farm horses were, however, not well represented, but for good horses satisfactory competition was maintain—ed. Passings of inferior horses were fairly frequent. A few hacks also came forward and good young ones were sought. Altogether a most satis—factory sale is reported. We quote: Unbroken farm draughts. account Mr 'l‘. Duck, one at 52-20, to Mr N. \\'. Better, one to Mr P. Bushlon, ’l‘atuanui, £39 108; one colt to Mr T. Scott, £35; one to Mr J. Gce, £113; others account same vendor, up to £2B. On account Mr F. J, llenry, .\lorrinsvllle, one first—class three—year mare, to Mr 11. Ge Knight. £4B; gelding to same purchaser, £45 105; buy lllly l 0 Mr E. Ringer, £'A‘.’i; geld—ing to Mr R. J, Muluahy, 23.1; best three—year unbroken farm horses, £llO to £118; 18—months unbroken ifarm horses, £23 to £35; one broken hay gelding on account Mr G. S. Smith, to Mr R. D.
