NET FLOATS.
(To the Editor) Sir.-—ln reply to my inquiry if any glass not floats had been found south of \Yniimlo ”cents I have received a note stating that one was picked up by n ho}~ on the beach at Okaio, in ’i‘nrannkL The information is interest—ing, and I have forwarded it to some scientific friends. I have since heard from another source that these floats have been found in the far south of the Dominion, and if all possible records are kept they may throw some light on ocean currents that will be of value.
