ELSTOW GLUE Ill'l'llfl. ’ The Elstow Old Girls' Basketball Club held their annual meeting on Wednesday afternoon, Miss P. Flower—day presiding over a. fair attendance. It was decided to field one team and to purchase material for new blouses. After due consideration it was decided to hold a ball some time in June. Arrangements will in- finalised at a meeting at the end or the month. | The election of omcers resulted:— President. Mrs A. Hirst; captain, Miss Phyllis Fiowerday; vice-captain, Miss Edna Eastwood; secretary and treasurer, Miss Kath Suisted. MATAMATA ASSOCIATION. Miss E. V. Bell nresided over the annual meeting of the .\latamata Balketbaii Association. which was ueil attended. The report. for the year revealed a credit balance or £22 05 id. It was stated that a successful queen carnival had raised sumclcnt funds to lay down two concrete and three sand courts. which would be available for play in a few weeks' time.
