SOUR MILK PANCAKES. Quarter-pound flour. a tea.spoon tbaklng soda, 1 egg, 1! gill thick sour mllk, 1 teaspoon melted butter. Sift flour before measur-ng. .\leasurc. Add salt and soda. then sift again. Beat egg and stir in milk. You may use butlermllk Instead of the sour milk. Stlr egg and mllk gradually into the flour. “’hcn smooth, stir in butter. Pour into a jug. Pour in rounds on a hot. well~greased glrdle, about an inch apart. Bake till brown 'hc-low. Turn and bake
on other side. Serve piled up In a hat dish lined with a paper d‘oyley. with butter and syrup. Enough for three or four perSOnS‘
