Potatoes—Jlme market is very firm ‘at the maker rate of £9 103 to 29 15s a ton through store. Onions—The local market ls still well supplied at the unchanged quota’ tion of about 35 6d a bag through store. Fowl Wheat.—Prioss have eased slightly in the south. The local price is steady at about Gs a bushel through store. Maize.—-—-Values are steady at the unaltered level of Bs 7d a bushel through state. Bariey.~—The market in Australia is firm with advancing prices. Local rates show an advance of 1d at 45 6d a bushel through store for clipped. Barley meal 15 also in very heavy demand on account of the high prlce for pollarcl.
Oats and Chart—Values for chat! have been advanced by about 25 6d a ton to £8 a ton through store. Graded oats remain In fairly short supply. The market ls steady at the unchanged price or 45 a bushel through store.
