CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.

PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP. TOURNAMENT AT MORHINSVILLE. The Morrinsvllle Gun Club's ground will provide the venue on Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23. for one of the major events of the clay bird shooting season, the Auckland provincial clay bird championship tournament, which is being conducted this year under the auspices of the Morrinsville Club. Generous prize money has been allocated for the various events, and this will be augmented by sweepstakes. 0n the opening day there will be two handicap events. each carrying £25 in prize money. and these will be followed by sweepstakes. The provincial championship will be deoided on Saburday, the second day, and will comprise a shoot of 21 birds. or! 18 yards. Large entries from all parts 0! the province are expected for this event. In addition [here will be a special handicap trophy match.
