THE HAMILTON CLUB. RESULTS OF'WEIK-IND PLAV. GILBEY CUP MATCH. Members of the Hamilton Golf Club played a bogey handicap on Saturday, the winner taking the Gilbey Cup. The first handicap was aban—‘ doned owing to rough weather on the previous Saturday. Following were the best cards yesterday2—A. T. Atkins. 1 up; J. G. Ferguson, R. W. G. Rutherfurd, all square: J. M. Graham. “I. J. King, 1 down; A. M. Fahey. A. W. Rutheri’urd, D. Geri-and, H. J. Radlord, E. G. Day, J. Pountney, M. C. Stranger. 2 down; W. G. Christie, E. Wilson, 'l‘. A. Milroy, 3 down; P. G. Harkness. H. G. Loveridge. a down. INTIR-OLUI MITCH. During the week-end the Hamilton Club played a. match against members of the Maurisakiekie Club at Hamilton. Four ball best ball games were played and resulted in a substantial win for the home club. The visitors thorough;ly enjoyed the outing and spoke in glowing terms of the condition of the links. } Following are the results. Hamilton players being mentioned first:— iFerguson and Atkins beat Goutts and \Moii’att. 5/4 and 5/4; Radiord and ‘Marcroft beat Clifton and Rankin 4/8 :and 1 up; Blackle and King lost to ‘vlvian and Tunnel; 2/1 and all square; Blndon and McLeod, all square both games; Wood and Frost beat Stetohbury and Whyman, 2/1 and 5/4; Ryan and McCaw best Walker and Kerr, 6/5 and 4/3; Wooller and Stranger heat Schnaver and Lamb, 5/3 and lost 2/1; Loveridge- and McCrscken beat McGresor and Cahill. 2 up and 4/3.
