HORSE SALE.
BIDDING NOT SPIRITED. TROTTERS CHANGE HANDS. Many buyers attended the horse sale at the Claudelands showgrounds conducted toy Messrs G. W. Yercoe and Company to-day. A medium entry came forward, mostly of aged horses. Bidding for the most part was slow’. On account of Mr W. F. Saunders a seven-year bay mare was sold to Mr w. F. Smith for £33 IDs. and a sevenyear bay gelding to Mr J. Still, of Otorohanga for £29 10s. Light farm horses realised from £29 to £33 tOs. while good hacks sold at from £7 to £ll. On account of Mr W.
