ZOO BIRTHDAY PARTY
FOR CHILDREN. Forty-eight children of unemployed men recently came through the fog to the first birthday party of Jubilee, the baby chimpanzee, at the London Zoo. Jubilee and her mother. Roo-800, had their tea-party while the children clustered round, laughing and jesting at. the very human table manners of the apes. On the table near their cage were displayed the letters and cards of greeting to Jubilee, including a telegram from Adam, her half-brother at the Bristol Zoo. When Jubilee had finished her food two of the youngest members of the party were taken up t<. her cage and shook hands with the ape.
