KITCHEN EVENING.

FOR MISS V. NEIL. There was a large attendance at a kitchen evening in the Manawaru Hall in honour of Miss V. Neil and Mr W. Fowler. The music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs Davis and Cater, with extras by Messrs Swinsen, Price and Hickey. During supper a presentation of a silver fruit basket was made to Miss Neil on behalf of the Manawaru Basketball Girls’ Club, by Mr J. O’Sullivan, and the many gift parcels were opened by the guest of honour.
