TRANSPORT CONTROL.
MOTOR SERVICES TRANSFERRED. CONTROL BY DEPARTMENT. (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, announced that his Department had completed arrangements for taking oyer three more passenger land. They are: Ramsay's Motors (Christchurch-Little-River-Akaroa), A. Earl’s service (Dunedin-Roxburgh) and Hope’s Motors (Dunedin-Palmerston;. The object in each case is to bring about co-ordination of road and rail in the interests of both public convenience and public fiinance. The services will be taken over before the end of the month.
