Beef was again in comparatively short supplyThe small oflering of steers contained at good proportion of well-fin-ished sorts. Competition was keen and price levels ruled fully up to those of last \\ eek. with extra choice ox beef selling at 295 per 1001 b. In the cow beef market the quality was mixed. but. ‘1 kccn demand brought a slight improvement on late rates.
