Guistord. decided to form a new racing club to be known as ‘the Dannevirke Jockey ciub provided 1500 members are obtained. ‘ It is hoped to revive racing in Dunne‘virke in the near future. About 100 imemhers Joined at the meeting. Rac‘iug at present is being conducted by the Dannmrike Racing Club away from :ilome under an agreement with neigh‘bourins eiuhs but this is not very ‘popuiar with many. hence the move to li'orm a new club.
