AT OTOROHANGA. There was a full bench of buyers and store and fat cow values Idid not change appreciably from other ‘sales this week. Sheen—Fat sheep of all classes came forward in good numbers, the balance of a heavy yarding comprising mostly :storc lambs, including many pens of ewe lambs, and a number of lines of mostly aged breeding ewes. Generally, fat sheep met with a good sale, a few pens of prime ewes particu—larly selling well above expectations. Store lambs, especially ewe lambs, were extremely keenly sought and prices consequently were most pleasing. Aged ewes sold at former levels. We quote: Prime fat ewes, 195 to £1 25 3d; good, 175 Go to 195; light, 155 to 175; medium fat wethers, 215 to #225 6d; pen of 113 good two-tooth store wcthcrs, £1 25; well—grown good conditioned ewe lamb-s, 22s 6d to 235 lid; medium, we to 215; good store \vether lambs, 1-ls to 16$; plain storo mixed sex lambs. 13s to 155. Pigs—Porkers and baconers were in fairly good supply and sales were of—fected at prices l’ully equal to Frankton rate-S. Store and weaner pigs formed the principal part or the yard—ing. 01’ these smaller class pigs sold substantially better than Frankton rates, but for good store pigs demand was indifferent. We quote :—Heavy baconers. £22 155 to 523; medium, £2 95 to £2 145; light, £2 its to £2 75; heavy porkers. £1 165 to £2 45; wellgrown store pigs, 165 to 195; medium. its to 16s; slips, its to 135; weaners, 75 to 105. Farmers' uuotlonoorlng company. The Farmers‘ (10-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report hav—ing held their Otorohanga stock sale yesterday when there was a full yarding of sheep, comprising principally fat and store lambs, for which a good demand existed. Callie: Again a full yarding of mostly second quality and honor cows. Competition was not as good as last sale and prices easier. An entry of iii—calf heifers was not in demand. Pigs: A good )‘nrding with a better demand for store sorts. \Ve quotc:-—Shecp: \\'ethers, 285 6d, fat Ilnmbs, 105 ‘to 215, killable, 175 Md to 185 6d, fwd. rcondt. lambs, 135 to 155 6d.
