I sHAND—GOTTER. l .__ The wedding was solemnleed at StAndrew‘s Presbyterian Church. Claudelands, on the afternoon of April 22 between Pearl Marv. only daughter [of Mr and Mrs Norman Cotter. of Te Kowhai, and Gordon Nobel. only son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Shand, of Davenport. Rev. Grant Sutherland was the ofliciating minister and Mr E. H. Apthorp presided at the organ. The church had been beautifully decorated by friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of ivory lace over angelskin. and carried a sheai‘ of hegonias, roses and fern. ’l‘he bridesmaids were the Misses Eva Smallfleld and Eileen Eddie. They wore frocks ot’ pint; lace over angel—jskin and carried bouquets of shaded ‘pink flowers to tone with their frocks. Mr Graham (loading, or iJevcnport, was best man, and Mr Raymond Power, oi" Devonport, was grooms—mun. After the ceremony a reception was held at the \Vattle Tearooms, which were decorated in colours to tone wilh the frocks of the bridesmaids.
