The latest report regarding Mr Lennox Simpson states that there is no immediate danger of him losing his life, though it declared if he recovered he will he paralysed in the lower part of his body for life. The driver of a car has been arrested, huttlhe denies' all knowledge of the affair. Authoritative sources stale that Ihe Tientsin Customs accounts are in perfect order. Foreign residents and Chinese, including many who opposed the seizure of the Customs, declaring that the service has improved fully 50 per cent, under Mr Simpson’s administration. _____
