CROQUET.

TE AROHA CLUB. Mrs F. W. Bliss presided at the meeting of the Croquet Club committee. . The following committees were elected: —Match Committee, Mesdamas Hamlyn, Goldsbury and Stephenson; Entertainment Committee, Mesdames Rowe, Hepburn, Allen .and Marglson; club .reporter, Mrs Stephenson. Invitations to the opening day of the Matamala and Morrinsville Clubs were received and accepted, and it was decided to open the season on October 14.
