LONDON TO TOKYO.

MRS BRUCE’S SILENCE. NO WORD SINCE THURSDAY. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. \ DELHI, Oct. 1. Mrs Victor Bruce was expected at Calcutta yesterday on her flight to Tokyo and her non-arrival has caused inquiries as to where she is. No news has been received of Mrs Bruce at Calcutta since she left England last Thursday. Mrs Victor Bruce left Belgrade for Constantinople on Monday. She had left England on the previous Thursday and landed at Munich, going on next day to Vienna. She reached Vienna on Sunday. Apparently there is some misunderstanding as to the time she is due at Calcutta.
