THIEVES AT WORK.

CAMBRIDGE HOTELS ENTERED. TWO BARMEN ROBBED. In the early hours of yesterday morning a thief entered the Central and Masonic Hotels, and stole money totalling £26. The thief entered a bedroom in the Central Hotel and stole £2l from the clothes of Mr William Saunderson, a barman. The thief adopted the same proceedings at the Masonic Hotel, where Mr A. Paynter, a barman, stolen from his clothing.

MOTOR PREMISES ENTERED. SUM OF £ls STOLEN. The branch premises at Matamata of Willis Brothers, motor dealers, Te Arolia, were entered and £ls was stolen. The intruders removed the front door lock by means of a brace and bit.
