Mr E. Dariey, of Auckland, Is visiting Hamilton. Mr Humphrey Bishop, the wellknown theatrical manager,. arrived at Wellington from Sydney by the Ulimaroa. Professor P. G. Hornell, the Swedish hydro-electric expert, accompanied by Mr F. W. Furkert, engineer in chief to the Public Works Department, left Wellington last evening for Dunedin. Judge H. H. Carr, of the Native Land Court, who has been relieving Judge Ayson at Rarotonga, will return to Wellin'ton -toward the end of the month. A motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr. T. C. Blackett was passed at a general committee meeting of the Waikato A. and P. Association this morning. Mr. A. Johns was appointed a member of the general committee of the Waikato A. and P. Association to-day in place of Mr S. Pilkington who resigned. Messrs G. E. Robertson, C. R. Whitcombe, W. Alexander, F. 11. Pitt, T. L. Danks, J. W. Hymes, C. Heath (Auckland),, C. E. Brown (Palmerston North), W. H. Allen (Tirau), J. H. King (Dunedin), and B. B. Granger (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr. Gordon Slanbrook, late chief reporter of the Auckland Sun, and formerly u member of the Waikato Times literary staff, is bpending a short holiday in Hamilton, prior to resuming his position on the staff of the Auckland Herald, which he relinquished to join the Sun.
