HEARING RESUMED. PATHOLOGIST'S EVIDENCE. DEATH DUE TO STRYCHNINE. (By Telegrapli.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. When the ■hearing was resumed Mr R. R. Bell watched accused’s interests in the temporary -absence of Mr Northcroft. Dr. W. Gilmour (pathologist- at the Public Hospital), said that after hearing the Government analyst’s evidence he was satisfied beyond all doubt that death was due to strychnine poisoning. “ Consistently high blood pressure during a week would be consistent with doses of strychnine being kept up," concluded Dr. Gilmour.
