At Daytona beach, Kayo Don made three round trips of the nine-mile course attaining top speed of 18G.04G miles an hour for a record mile on one run, which is the best official time he has made so far, but it is some 45 miles per hour short of Sir 11. Segrave’s record. The engine behaved poorly. Kaye Don hopes to run again tomorrow.
