LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather:— Barometer. Tuesday 30.35 Wednesday ... 30.35 Thermometer. Max. Min. Tuesday P. 5.00 49.00 Wednesday 69.00 55.00 Barometer 30.35 with very little movement. Indications are for fair to overcast weather during the next 24 hours with warmer temperature and variable winds, followed later by unsettled conditions. Mean temperature 62 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for easterly winds, moderate, backing by east to north and freshening. There is a prospect of fair weather with mild and hazy conditions and increasing haze and cloudiness. Barometer falling slowly. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
