MUSICAL EVENING
AT LYCEUM CLUS. A musical evening organised by the Entertainment Committee of the Lyceum Club was given in the lounge of the cluh last evening. A very charming programme 'had been arranged and was greatly enjoyed by the large gathering of members. The programme was:—Duet, Mesdames Ferguson and Sinclair; violin solo, Miss Higgott; piano solo,-Miss Mary Gillies; recitation, Mrs Linder; song, Miss Adele Bell; piano solo, Miss Jones; violin solo, Miss Higg-ott; recitation, Miss Bell; song, Miss Bell; reading, Misses Jolly, Madeley and Bullock. Among those present were: The hostess for the evening (Mrs T. Platt), Mesdames H. T. Gillies, G. Friedlander, M. Coventry, McLernon, W. A. Oliver, L. Day, H. J. Ferguson, 11. J. McMullin, Linder, A. Sims, A. Beale, Haseler, Clarke, Farquhar, C. Smith, Hopkins, Selden, Andrews, Carter (Marton), M. Friedlander, W. Tudhope, S. Graham, H. Luxford, Toombs, Sheppard, Tyne, Speedy, F. D. Pinfold, Gordon Brown, J. R. Simpson, R. B. Cranwell, Bullock, Bevin, Sinclair, Ramsay, Ranstead, Houlden, W. Peterson, Blomileld, A. 11. Tompkins, J. D. Smith, T. C. Fraser, H. H. Piper, G. R.
