IN BANKRUPTCY
HAftIiLTON RETURNS. FIGURES FOR QUARTER. Ten bankruptcies were recorded in the Hamilton district last month, compared with six for March, 1929Those who tiled were four labourers, two carriers, and one mechanic, service car driver, contractor, and sawmilling hand. The bankruptcy returns for the quarter ended yesterday, with comparisons are:—
The Assets. The total assets of bankrupts last month were £912 19s Gd, compared with £1122 8s Gd in the previous March, and total liabilities were £2465’ 12s 3d, as against £4IBB 12s iOd the same month last year.
