DR. ANNETT WELCOMED
DAIRY CLUB GATHERING. A cordial welcome home to Dr. 11. E. Annett, who has recently returned from a trip to Europe, was given by the Dairy Club last evening. ■ Mr T. Tyne, the president, spoke of Dr. Annett’s great service lo dairying and pasture research and extended a warm welcome on behalf of the club. Other speakers included (Messrs C. M. Huine, manager of the Dominion Herd Testing Federation, E. E. Hale, Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Go-operative Dairy Company, and C. E. Cuming. Dr. Annelt briefly reviewed his lour abroad and returned thanks for the recepl ion. The function terminated when Hie guest of Hie, evening was accorded musical' honours.
