A Gisborne couple, who are in Wellington on their honeymoon lour have had no trouble whatever with regard to booking rooms at the various centres they have visited. They arc quite independent of hotels (says the Dominion), as they carry their house, like a snail, around with them. The secret of their relief from the trouble of having to engage rooms in advance is that they are making the tour by motorcar, which the ingenious young husband, who is in the moLor business, has converted into a house by the simple expedient of providing that the front seat can be lowered on a hinge to the level of the ‘back seat, which converts the car into a comfortable living room. The result is that wherever they happen to pull up for the night there is their home all ready. They informed a reporter that they were leading an iiyllic existence, free from all care and worry'. All they' have to think about is arranging for meals, and as an adequate commissariat is carried in the car their catering worries are few. They certainly seem to have solved the problem of Living with the minimum of worry and expense.
