B.Y CHINESE BRIGANDS. THEIR FATE UNKNOWN. FEARS FOR THEIR SAFETY. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received Mar. 31, 10 a-m.) SHANGHAI, March 30. The same bandit gang which captured and murdered three Finnish women missionaries recently is reported to have captured three others at Yuanchow, West Kaingsi. Local offices of the China Inland Mission are in receipt of a message stating that the Brigands descended on the town and carried off Mr andMrs Porteous (British) and Miss Negpmmell (American). Two other women and a man managed to escape. The fate of the captives is unknown, but grave fears are entertained in view of the band’s previous history.
