GIRL GUIDES.

Swallow Patrol, Claudelands Company, writes: Last Saturday at five o clock Claudelands Company met at the hall. After roll call, inspection and horse-shoe formation wc got on with our work. We had a very good attendance considering the other functions that were on. First of all we did drill. Twelve girls from our company are drilling at the Field Day. Wc had several practices at it and then we had company drill and had

some marching. After this we joined in a folk dance called “Gathering Peascods.” We have to do this at the Field Day, so we did it over twice, to make sure the girls knew it. As it Avas getting dark, we went into the hall and had signalling. After this we were taught a new folk dance called “The Dashing White Sergeant.” It is a very energetic one.' After taps,_ we cleared up the hall and wenfc 3 home.
