Personal. Mr and Mrs Wilton and family left for Stratford this morning, where they will take up their residence. On Monday evening Mr and Mrs Wilton were guests of honour at the Harvest Social at the Methodist Church. During the evening they vVcre the recipients of suitable presentations from the congregation of the church, with which they have had a long and happy association. Nurse MacKenzie, of the local Plunket branch, leaves on Friday morning for a holiday at her home in Australia. Town Improvements. The lino block of buildings known as Grant’s Chambers are now completed, and tenants are moving into tl.yi new premises. Methodist Church. The harvest social at the Methodist Church was well attended and met with great success in every way. The cantata rendered on Sunday evening was repeated. The sale of produce added £4 Gs 7d to the church funds.
