MAIBIIHI CLUB. Forty members attended the annual meeting of the Maihiihi Golf Club. The ..election of officers resulted:—■ President, Mr J. Ilollinrake; vice-pre-sident, Mr W. E. Holmes; committee, Messrs B. Dragovich, T. Levien, N. Stagg, and F. Levien; secretary, Mr L. Fry; club captain, Mr W. E. Holmes; ladies’ captain, Mrs Moncrieff-Wright. It was decided to double the present annual subscription in order to place the club on a sound financial basis, and to carry out various contemplated improvements. Seven new members were elected, and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring president for his assistance in providing the links and advising in regard to club management.
