BOXING.

DONOVAN-SARRON BOUT. A PROFIT OF £7OO. NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Taranaki Boxing Association last evening, it was stated that there would be a profit of about £7OO from the Donovan-Sarron contest on March 15. The receipts totalled £1935, and the principal item of expense was the purse, £440. Appreciation of the services of the secretary was expressed, and it was decided to vote him a bonus of £75.
