MECHANIC INJURED.
SUSTAINS FRACTURED SKULL. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. While engaged in cleaning the undercarriage of a motor car at Parnell this morning Masell liill, aged 17, a motor mechanic had his skull fractured when the jack slipped, resulting in the car falling on his head. Ho was sent to the hospital in a serious condition.
