The Federal Premier (Hon. J. H. Sculiin) explains that the Soviet has asked through the British authorities whether the Commonwealth would object lo Hie appointment of a Russian representative in Australia. He had replied that such a consular agent would he received, subject to the usual undertakings regarding propaganda. Australia had no intention of seeking official representation in Russia.
