LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather:— Barometer. Wednesday ... 29.80 Thursday 30.05 Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday 65.00 45.00 Thursday 64.00 40.00 Barometer 30.05, rising slowly. Indications are for fair weather to-day and probably to-morrow with lower temperature and brisk winds from, a southerly direction Mean temperature 52 de- # grees. The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: The indications are for moderate southerly winds. There is a prospect of fair weather. The night will probably be very cold with frosts inland. Barometer rising slowly. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER. The following official report was issued at 4 p.m. yesterday:—
