GOLF OPENING.
HAMILTON LADIES’ CLUB. The official opening of the Hamilton Ladles’ Golf Club was held yesterday afternoon, when members were the guesLs of the president, Mrs E. J. Meat's, at afternoon lea. The day was bright and sunny and the bilks in very good condition, so ilial the Canadian foursomes played proved greatly enjoyable. The best scores for the afternoon were:—Misses Templar and Norris, 3G; Mrs Russell and Mrs Griffiths, 38; Mrs llotson anti Miss McLean, 38; Mrs llockln and Mrs Fraser, 39; Mrs Brown and Mrs Banks, 39. Mrs Mears received the members, and wore a suit of leal'-green knitted silk. The committee present were: Mesdames D. Hay, 11. G. Ross, G. Primrose, W. Horton, W. J. King, C. Bennett, 0. R.
