Bond and the Misses Bond, of Remuera, who have been visiting Tauranga and Okoroire, returned to Auckland yesterday. m # * * Mrs G. A. Hurd-Wood is visiting Feilding. * • * • Mrs Ewan McGregor, of Hamilton, who was the guest of Mrs W. Birch, Westmere, Wanganui, has returned home, .•* * * Mrs Mere Chitty, of Hamilton, has left for Feilding, where she will attend the polo tournament. * * * • Mrs R. V. Graves (Waverley) and Miss A. G. Compton (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel. • * * * The Huntly branch of the Mothers’ Union has donated £4 as towards the proposed children’s home in the Waikato Diocese. • * * • A new branch of the Mothe’s’ Union has been formed at Putaruru. There are now 12 branches in the Waikato Diocese. ENGAGEMENT. An engagement is announced between Ruby Florence, second daughter of Mr and Mrs P. S. McNally, Te Aroha Street, Claudelands, and Cyril Stewart, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. C. Stubbs, River Road, Hamilton.
