The Hawke Cup cricket match between Manawatu (holders) and Rangitikei was commenced this morning. Rangitlkei won the toss and batted. R. Cameron and Barton opened the innings, the runs coming slowly. At 46 the former was caught. The incomer was D. Cameron. Soon after Barton was run out, the total being 61. Ilodder was the next batsman. With D.
