A motion that alt future matches under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Rugby Union should he played only under the rules adopted by Ine New Zealand Rugby Football Union, and observed by other Rugby football unions throughout Lhe Dominion, was de-
feated by 38 votes to 16 at the annual meeting of delegates to the Auckland Rugby Union last evening. The following officers were elected: Patron, lhe Governor-General, Lord Blcdisloe; president, Mr J. Arnc.il; vice-presidents, Sir Janies Gunson, Messrs T. Aifken, P. R. Fraser, M. 1. Sheahan, F. J. Ohlson, A. Twiname; honorary treasurer, Mr A. .T. Billington; management committee, Messrs 11. Frost, A. St. C. Belcher, (J. T. Keegan, J. 11. M. Muir, D. J. Wright, G. Nicholson. R. H. Cooper, A. A. Baker; sole selector, Mr G. Nicholson; honorary auditors, Messrs A. Bayliss
and A. A. Lucas; honorary solicitor, Mr J. L. Conlan; resident delegate to New Zealand Rugby Union, .Mr .1. Roadie. The eleidions of |ho ollicial country advisor and the honorary surgeons were left in the hands of the committee.
