RAVAGES OF CANCER.
RADIUM TREATMENT. 500 CASES REPORTED CURED. Canberra, March 24. Dr. Burrows, Commonwealth Radium Adviser, slates that 2500 cancer sufferers received radium treatment last year in Australia. The majority of the cases were inoperable, and it is expected that 500 will prove permanently cured, and about 1200 appreciably alleviated.
