POLICEMAN CHARGED.
ALLEGED THEFT AND BURGLARY?) A REMAND GRANTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. An ex-constable, Joseph Reginald Wilson, aged 24, who was arrested at Auckland, appeared before Mr Mosley, S.M., to answer five charges of theft and one of breaking and entering. The offences ■ it is alleged, were committed while accused was a constable stationed at Christchurch. Wilson was remanded until Thura« day, bail being refused.
