Ramsay AlacDonald, replying to a question by Mr. Norman Angell (Labour, Bradford) said the Government neither contemplated nor discussed any anatement of obligations under the covenant of the League or the treaty of Locarno. Colonel Wedgewood (Labour, New-castle-Under Tyne) : Has the Government discussed any increase of these obligations? Mr. AlacDonald asked for notice of the question, as he had not prepared answers which were sometimes crudely given.
