THE MATRICIDE.
IS HE INSANE? HOME OFFICE INVESTIGATIONS. DOCTORS’ REPORTS CALLED FOR. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. —Copyright. (Received March 25, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 24. The Home Office has exercised its farely-used prerogative, and is demanding medical reports from the ■prison doctors regarding the mental condition of Fox, who is under sentence of death for murdering his mother. If unsoundness is suggested and a Royal Commission finds this upheld, Fox will he reprieved. The authorities arc influenced by the fact that he was discharged from the army during the war because he was subject to epileptic fits, probably as the result of war experiences.
