MOTORING ACCIDENTS.
CARS IN COLLISION. NO ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED. RAWENE, Monday. Two cars collided at Maugamuka yesterday. One was driven by Mr C. Cameron, of Maraeroa, and the oilier by Air Rogers, of Kaitaia. Air Cameron’s car left the road and plunged into a creek. One of the passengers, Air R. AlcLeod, jumped clear as the car plunged and became entangled in weeds in the river. Several occupants of both cars received cuts and bruises, hut no one was seriously hurt. TWO CARS DAMAGED. ACCIDENT NEAR NGARUAWAHIA(SpeciaI to Times.) NGARUAWAIIIA, Tuesday. Two cars, one owned and driven by Air William Smithson, of Puni, the other by Air Ed. Prendeville, of Waikeria, collided on a small bridge betwen Ngaruawahia and Taupiri. Both cars were reversed in direction. Air Smithson’s car mounted a bank, and was slightly damaged. Ah* Prendeviilc’s car had a front wheel torn off, and sustained considerable damage. Fortunately no one was hurt. CAR AND TRAM COLLIDE. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. A collision between a tramcar and a motor car, driven by Air E. Adams of AlounL Eden, occurred in Khyber Pass Road, yesterday afternoon. None of the occupants was injured. MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED. COLLISION WITH A CAR. MERCER, Alonday. Painful injuries were sustained by a motor cyclist, Mr Keith Evans, oi Waihi, as a result of a collision with a car on Ihe Pokeno-Paeroa main road at Maramarua. His right leg ws broken in three places.
